Frequently Asked Questions
1. Dispatch.
Our policy is to pack prints and maps into postal tubes and send them by registered mail. We charge postage at cost. For insurance we are happy to cover under our own policy but that involves a $250.00 excess. We can arrange to insure through Australia Post at cost, but please note that the maximum allowed cover is $5,000.00. For more expensive items cutomers will need to make their own insurance arrangements, or we will cover bearing in mind that the $250.00 excess will apply.
2. Returns policy.
If you are not satisfied with the condition as originally described, we will happily accept the item back for a full refund. The item must be returned as dispatched - usually in a postal tube by registered mail and insured to the full value.
3. Payment.
All prices are shown in Australian dollars and include GST (Goods & Services tax of 10%).
We accept payment by Direct Deposit, Visa and Master Card or Cheques made payable in Australian dollars. Cheques must be cleared before items are dispatched.
4. Buying Policy.
As dealers, we buy and sell. We are only interested in buying items over 100 years old with Australian subject matter, within the categories shown on our website.
5. Images.
All images displayed on our website are as faithful to the original prints as the limitations of digital technology allow. However, in order to minimise download times, the images are generally at low resolution. This may result in some loss of detail and colour compared with the originals.
